There's a cool resort in Tulum, Mexico: Azulik Eco-Resort & Maya Spa, which is built like a tree house! Our villa was nestled on the sea-front on top of cliffs over looking the ocean. All the rooms, fixtures, and walkways were predominately made of wood. The only electricity in the rooms are a very powerful fan above the bed and two outlets to charge your phone or camera. At night, the resort staff goes around to all the rooms to light candles. The intent of this resort is to disconnect from the many distractions of our everyday lives and to relax your mind, body, and spirit.
The breeze from the ocean kept us cool throughout the day and the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs forced us to mellow out. Our 2-night stay at Azulik was definitely an experience we will never forget. Check out the pictures below of our time at this one of a kind place!
Before my trip to NYC, I came across this café called the, LRoom, on social media. What I saw was no ordinary latte and hot chocolate; the lattes looked like pure gold, so I knew I had to visit during my trip. www.findandjourney.com www.fandjbrand.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/findandjourney/
