How To Plan An Epic Girls Trip

Have you and your best friends decided your crew is overdue a girls getaway, but you don’t know where to begin? Well, we’ve put together a quick list to get you started on your way to belly aching laughter, crazy boy talk, new inside jokes, and memories that will last you a lifetime:
1. Begin planning a year to 6 months in advance. There’s nothing wrong with a spur of the moment weekend getaway, but because life can get hectic with family, school, and career responsibilities, it’s a great idea to plan the trip in advance.  Early planning gives everyone a chance to make the trip a priority-everyone can create a budget, pay for the trip in installments, and declare the agreed upon trip dates as “blackout” dates (blackout meaning nothing else will be planned on the dates chosen).
2. Decide on what type of vacation to take. If your group is looking to party non-stop then Cancun, Las Vegas, or New Orleans are great backdrops for your epic girls’ trip! But, if your crew is looking for a more laid-back scene, then a spa resort in the Bahamas or Palm Springs will be a great place for your group’s getaway.
3. Do research on different local activities. When planning activities, it’s also important to note that everyone does not need to attend every single event on the itinerary. Half of the group may want to spend one day shopping while the other half may want to spend the day visiting museums, and that is totally okay!
4. Last, but not least, don’t be afraid to enlist the help of a travel agent. Travel agents are very knowledgeable and can think of things that you may overlook. Travel agents can also suggest excursions they may have experienced or helped plan for another crew.
